Agreement Overview
Welcome to Novrix ("the Service", "we", "our", or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and Novrix governing your access to and use of the Novrix Discord bot, dashboard, API, website, and all associated services.
By inviting Novrix to your Discord server, accessing our dashboard, or interacting with any of our services in any way, you represent that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. These Terms apply to all users, server administrators, moderators, and any third parties accessing our services.
Novrix is a comprehensive Discord bot platform designed to protect servers, provide advanced moderation tools, enable server analytics, power economy systems, manage leveling and rewards, and enhance community management at scale. Our mission is to provide safe, reliable, and feature-rich tools for Discord communities worldwide.
Novrix is an officially verified Discord application, meeting Discord's requirements for large-scale bots — including security review, rate-limit compliance, and data-handling standards. While verification demonstrates compliance with Discord's platform requirements, users and server administrators remain responsible for configuring the Service appropriately within their own communities.
Eligibility & Account Requirements
- You must be at least 13 years old to use our Service, or the minimum age required by Discord's Terms of Service in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher.
- If you are between 13 and 18 years of age, you represent that your legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
- All accounts must provide accurate, current, and complete information. Impersonation or providing false information is grounds for immediate termination.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Discord account credentials. Novrix is not liable for any unauthorized access resulting from credential compromise.
- Server administrators who add Novrix to their server represent they have the authority to bind their community to these Terms.
- You must comply with Discord's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and all applicable local, national, and international laws when using our Service.
- Accounts found to be operated by bots, automated scripts, or used for malicious purposes will be terminated without notice.
Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use Novrix only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with all applicable laws and regulations. You acknowledge full responsibility for all actions taken through your use of the Service.
- Use Novrix commands and features only for their intended and documented purposes.
- Maintain respectful interactions with other users, moderators, and administrators.
- Report security vulnerabilities, abuse, or suspicious behavior to our support team immediately via our support server.
- Abide by your server's rules and moderation policies when using Novrix in any Discord community.
- Ensure all content submitted through Novrix features (bios, custom messages, tags, etc.) complies with applicable law and Discord's guidelines.
- Do not attempt to circumvent, disable, or bypass any security measures, permission systems, rate limits, or access restrictions implemented by Novrix.
- Maintain accurate and current contact information if required for premium subscriptions or support tickets.
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise discover the source code or underlying algorithms of the Service.
Abuse Reporting
If you believe Novrix — or any account, server, or feature within Novrix — is being used for phishing, spam, malware distribution, scams, or other malicious activity, please report it immediately through our support server or by emailing novrixofficial@outlook.com. We investigate all abuse reports and take action consistent with these Terms, up to and including permanent termination of access and reporting to Discord or relevant authorities.
Prohibited Actions
The following actions are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of your access, potential reporting to Discord, and possible legal action where applicable:
- Malware & Exploits: Distribution of malware, phishing links, unauthorized scripts, or any code designed to harm, exploit, or deceive.
- Impersonation: Impersonating another user, bot, staff member, Discord employee, or any entity, whether real or fictional.
- Service Attacks: Attempting to perform DDoS attacks, rate-limit abuse, SQL injection, XSS, or any other attack against Novrix infrastructure or Discord.
- Unauthorized Access: Attempting to access accounts, servers, data, or features without authorization.
- Harassment & Hate Speech: Engaging in harassment, targeted abuse, hate speech, discrimination, or threats based on any protected characteristic.
- Data Harvesting: Unauthorized collection, scraping, or harvesting of user data, server information, or any data accessible through the Service.
- Scams & Fraud: Engaging in financial scams, fraudulent schemes, unauthorized financial transactions, or attempting to manipulate economy systems.
- Spam & Flooding: Sending unsolicited messages, spamming commands, flooding channels, or disrupting server operations through automated means.
- Multi-Account Abuse: Creating multiple accounts or adding the bot to multiple servers specifically to bypass limits, bans, or restrictions.
- CSAM: Any content that sexually exploits minors is absolutely prohibited and will be reported to the appropriate authorities immediately.
- Intellectual Property Violations: Uploading, distributing, or sharing content that infringes on copyrights, trademarks, patents, or other intellectual property rights.
- API Abuse: Unauthorized use of Novrix's API, excessive requests beyond documented rate limits, or use of undocumented API endpoints.
Premium Services & Subscriptions
Novrix offers both free and premium tiers of service. Premium features are available through subscription plans as described on our Plans page.
- All payments are processed securely through our authorized payment processors. Novrix does not store full payment card details.
- Premium subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- You are responsible for all charges incurred under your account, including unauthorized charges if you fail to secure your account credentials.
- Downgrading your plan may result in loss of access to premium features, and associated data may be retained for a limited grace period before deletion.
- Novrix reserves the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of new pricing.
- Refunds are subject to our Refund Policy. Abuse of refund policies may result in account suspension.
- Premium features are provided "as-is" and may be subject to service-level limitations during high-demand periods.
Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability, but scheduled maintenance, emergency updates, third-party outages (including Discord itself), and unforeseen technical issues may temporarily affect the Service. Brief restarts during critical fixes are normal and may momentarily show the bot as offline.
Current system status, including live uptime for the bot, database, and API, is available on our public status page. We post advance notice of scheduled maintenance where practical.
AI-Powered Features
Novrix includes AI-powered capabilities, including automated scam and phishing detection (text and image analysis) as part of its moderation tools. These systems are designed to assist, not replace, human judgment.
- AI-generated determinations (such as flagging a message or image as a scam) may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete, including false positives and false negatives.
- Server administrators and moderators should review AI-driven moderation actions where practical, especially before relying on them for significant administrative decisions.
- Novrix is not liable for actions taken, or not taken, based on AI-generated assessments.
Data & Privacy
Your privacy matters to us. Our full Privacy Policy details exactly what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your information. Key points include:
- Novrix logs moderation actions, command usage, and server events to power its features and improve the service.
- User data is processed in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including GDPR for EU residents and CCPA for California residents.
- You consent to the collection and processing of data necessary to operate and improve the Service as described in our Privacy Policy.
- Server owners are responsible for ensuring their communities are informed about data collection practices when using Novrix.
- Novrix does not sell personal data to third parties. Data may be shared with service providers under strict confidentiality agreements as outlined in the Privacy Policy.
- You may request deletion of your personal data by contacting novrixofficial@outlook.com, or by using the self-service export and deletion tools in the dashboard. Certain data may be retained for legal compliance purposes.
- Where technically feasible, users may request an export of their personal data (such as moderation logs, configuration settings, and analytics data, available in CSV or JSON from the dashboard) before requesting deletion.
Intellectual Property
All aspects of the Novrix Service, including but not limited to the bot, dashboard, website design, source code, logos, branding, documentation, and features are the exclusive intellectual property of Novrix and its creators.
- You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purposes.
- You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, license, or create derivative works from any Novrix intellectual property without express written permission.
- Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you voluntarily submit to us about the Service (not your own server content) become the property of Novrix and may be used for product improvement without compensation or obligation to you.
- You retain ownership of the content you create — server configurations, custom messages, tags, and other content you submit through Novrix features remain your property. Novrix only receives the limited, non-exclusive rights necessary to store, process, and display that content in order to provide and operate the Service.
- Novrix respects intellectual property rights. If you believe content on our platform infringes your copyright, contact us at novrixofficial@outlook.com.
Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
- Novrix does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation of the Service. Scheduled and emergency maintenance may occur.
- Novrix is not responsible for actions taken by moderation tools configured by server administrators, including false positives from automated systems.
- We are not liable for any loss of data, server content, user information, or virtual economy items resulting from service disruptions, bugs, or user error.
- To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Novrix's total liability for any claims arising from use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid to Novrix in the 3 months preceding the claim.
- Novrix is not responsible for changes in Discord's platform, API, or policies that may affect the functionality of our Service.
- Virtual currency, economy items, and leveling data have no real-world monetary value and may be reset, modified, or removed without compensation.
- Force Majeure: Novrix shall not be liable for delays or failures in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including internet or infrastructure outages, cloud or hosting provider failures, natural disasters, government actions, labor disputes, or disruptions to the Discord platform.
Modifications & Termination
- Novrix reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue any feature or aspect of the Service at any time without prior notice.
- We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes to these Terms via our support server, dashboard notifications, or email.
- Continued use of the Service after changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
- Novrix may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for violation of these Terms, abuse of the platform, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
- Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
- You may terminate your use of the Service at any time by removing Novrix from your Discord server and ceasing all use of our dashboard and API.
Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved as follows:
- You agree to first attempt to resolve disputes informally by contacting us at novrixofficial@outlook.com and allowing 30 days for resolution.
- If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
- You waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration against Novrix.
- If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
- Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
