No. Administrator is recommended for full functionality, but you can grant only the permissions you want Novrix to use. See the Moderation section below for the specific permission list per feature.

Click Invite on our homepage or in the footer. Discord's authorization page will ask which server to add it to — you need Manage Server permission on that server. Authorize the requested permissions and Novrix joins instantly. Then run /setup to complete the onboarding wizard.

Run /setup to launch the onboarding wizard, which configures AutoMod, log channels, and moderator roles in a few clicks. For deeper control, open the dashboard's AutoMod tab, where you can fine-tune every filter, threshold, and punishment individually.

Most servers are fully configured in under five minutes. The /setup wizard handles the essentials (AutoMod, logging, moderator roles) up front — everything else can be tuned later from the dashboard whenever you have time.

Yes — all 100+ commands are slash commands (/commandname). They show inline autocomplete, parameter descriptions, and permission checks without you typing anything extra. See the full list in our documentation. Legacy prefix commands have been sunset in favor of slash commands for the best experience.

Yes — the Novrix dashboard is the central hub for configuring everything. Log in with Discord, select your server, and you get access to: AutoMod rules, action log settings, leveling config, economy shop, anti-raid thresholds, welcome messages, backups, and live analytics. Changes apply instantly with no restarts.

Yes — every AutoMod filter (spam, caps, links, invites, mention spam, word filter, new-account detection) can be independently enabled, disabled, and tuned with your own thresholds and punishments from the dashboard's AutoMod tab.

Yes. Novrix uses AI-powered image and link analysis to catch fake giveaways, phishing domains, impersonation attempts, and scam QR codes in real time — including inside image attachments, not just text. Flagged content is removed and logged automatically.

Yes — you can exempt specific channels, categories, or roles from AutoMod filters, so staff, bots, or designated channels aren't affected by rules meant for the general server.

Yes. Every module — moderation, leveling, economy, music, tickets, and more — can be toggled independently from the dashboard, so you only run what your server actually needs.

Only when a message trips an enabled AutoMod rule (like a scam link or spam) — Novrix removes it and logs the action. Novrix never deletes messages outside of the moderation rules you've configured.

Granting Administrator covers everything. For a more granular setup, Novrix needs: Kick & Ban Members (moderation), Manage Messages (AutoMod), Manage Roles (leveling role rewards, economy shop), View Audit Log (action logs), and Send Messages in channels where it should respond. Critically, Novrix's bot role must be above the roles it manages in your role hierarchy.

Premium adds cosmetic and listing perks on top: a featured server listing, custom listing music, animated banners, the Premium badge, custom accent colors, and priority support. Yes — there's no lock-in contract. Cancel anytime from the dashboard's billing page, and your server gracefully downgrades to the free tier at the end of your billing period. No data loss, no config wipe, no downtime — free-tier features keep running normally, and everything restores instantly if you resubscribe.

We offer refunds for billing errors, duplicate charges, extended service outages beyond our SLA, and cancellations within the first 7 days. Requests must be submitted within 30 days of the charge via our dashboard ticket system. Processing takes 5–10 business days. No — AI-powered scam and image detection is part of Novrix's core moderation and available on every plan, free included. Premium is entirely about cosmetic and listing perks (featured listing, animated banners, priority support), not gating capability behind a paywall.

No — Premium is licensed per server, since usage (AI calls, analytics, automation) scales with each server's activity. If you manage multiple servers, check the plans page for multi-server bundle pricing.

Rate limits exist to protect system stability, but they're generous enough that typical servers never hit them. Free servers have basic API and automation quotas; paid plans have significantly higher or unlimited quotas. Limits are displayed transparently in the dashboard. You'll see a warning before hitting a hard cap — never a sudden cutoff.

Only what's needed to run enabled features: server configuration, moderation case history, and limited message metadata (like message IDs and timestamps for logging). Full message content isn't stored unless you've explicitly enabled a feature that requires it, such as message logging.

Yes — go to Dashboard → Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Server Data to permanently erase your server's Novrix data at any time. Removing the bot also retains your configuration for 30 days in case you return, after which it's purged per our retention policy.

Yes — data is encrypted at rest, access is strictly controlled, and we comply with GDPR and CCPA. We never sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

No. Novrix only processes data necessary to provide requested features and does not monitor private DMs unless a feature explicitly requires user interaction — for example, receiving a direct message you send to open a support ticket.

Yes — moderation logs, configuration settings, and analytics data can be exported in CSV or JSON from the dashboard. For compliance-driven or full data export needs, contact our support team and we'll work with you within security and privacy constraints.

No — Novrix is a managed-only service. This lets us guarantee security standards, automatic updates, high availability, and consistent performance. Some features (AI tools, real-time analytics, multi-shard coordination) require specialized backend infrastructure that isn't practical to self-host. If you have compliance or data-residency requirements, contact our enterprise team.

Discord can take a few minutes to sync new application commands. You can also try re-inviting the bot or refreshing your Discord client. If it's still missing after a few minutes, let us know in Discord.
